The parties to this agreement are (referred to in this agreement as the “seller”), and

2. Registration.

This puppy is sold on a Limited Registration through AKC. The Limited Registration can only be changed

by Laurie Weaver. The Limited Registration will be changed to a Full Registration, when and if the new

owners obtained, after two years of age, 1. OFA Hip clearance of Fair, Good, or Excellent 2. OFA Elbow

clearance 3. CERF clearance on the eyes 4. PRA Clear or Carrier.

This puppy is sold on a Limited Registration with AKC. The puppy is pet quality and will never be bred.

This registration can be changed to a full registration if the puppy is spayed or neutered and Laurie Weaver

receives written proof of this from a veterinarian.

This puppy is sold on a Full Registration with AKC. The buyer agrees to not breed this dog until, at 2 years

of age or after, 1. OFA Hip clearance of Fair, Good, or Excellent 2. OFA Elbow clearance 3. CERF

clearance on the eyes and 4. a PRA test is done.

3. A end of the year (Holiday picture) will be sent yearly to the Seller.

4. AKC REGISTERED NAME: The puppy will be named with “Spirit” being the kennel name which will be

the first word of the puppies registered name. The buyer, after selecting the name, will e-mail the chosen

name to the seller to put the name on the AKC registration papers

5. If the puppy is microchip, the microchip number will be given to the seller to be included on the litter

registration paperwork.

6. If at any point the buyer wishes to sell or place the puppy, the seller has the right of first refusal at the

original selling price.

7. If for any reason the terms of this agreement are not kept, the dog will be returned to Laurie Weaver with no

reimbursement of the purchase price to the buyer.

8. HEALTH: The Seller guarantees to the Buyer, that for a period of 48 hours after the delivery of the puppy,

the puppy will be in good physical health and free from disease, except that the Seller does not guarantee

the puppy is free from worms. This puppy was wormed at least two times on the dates shown in the health

records.

The puppy has received one puppy vaccinations, at six weeks of age. The vaccination date is also

shown in the health records. If the Veterinarian finds any incurable illnesses, or conditions wrong with

the puppy it will be exchanged for another puppy of equal value of the customer’s choice at once or

when available, provided a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered during the guaranteed

period. No exchange will be made after this period. The seller assumes no responsibility with respects to

this puppy after leaving the seller’s premises: medical expenses, mortality, landlord’s disapproval,

allergy to animals, disagreement of family, or for any other reason, not excluded elsewhere in this

agreement.

9. NO OTHER GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES: The only guarantee or warranties made by the Seller are

those in section 8 of this agreement and attached Hip and Eye Guarantee.

ALL OTHER GUARANTEES

AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR

IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRARNTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS

FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS SALE AND SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE

PUPPY.

10. REMEDIES: THE PARTIES AGREE THAT THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE IN THIS

SECTIONS 9 ARE THE ONLY REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO THE BUYER, AND THE SELLER SHALL

NOT BE LIABLE TO PAY FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OR AMOUNTS INCLUDING BUT NOT

LIMITED TO VETERINARIAN EXPENSES.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This Agreement represents the complete and exclusive final agreement of the

parties with respect to the sale or the Puppy and supersedes any earlier or contemporaneous oral, written, or

implied agreements with respect to this sale.

12. MODIFICATION: This agreement may not be modified except in writing and signed by all parties.

13. GOVERNING LAW:

This agreement and the sale of the Puppy shall be governed by and interpreted in

accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.

HIP AND EYE GUARANTEE

HIP GUARANTEE

The puppy you are purchasing on _____________________________ is guaranteed to be free of hip dysplasia.

The dog should be x-rayed between 24 and 28 months of age by an approved veterinarian (animals older than

28 months of age are not covered under this guarantee). Duplicate x-ray must also be sent to us. If the puppy is

certified to be dysplastic by O.F.A., the dog will be replaced with an approximately, seven week old puppy

from a similar breeding provided that:

1. The dog that was certified to be dysplastic is sterilized and the owner submits proof in writing from a

veterinarian.

2. The dog must not be used for breeding until X-rayed and approved by the O.F.A. If the dog is bred before

being approved, the guarantee is VOID.

3. No dog will be guaranteed unless it carries either “Spirit” as the prefix in its registered name and has not

been transferred or sold.

The dog’s AKC registration will be signed over to Laurie Weaver.

If Laurie Weaver replaces the dysplastic dog with a similar breeding, Laurie has the option of requesting the

original dog be sent back to her and the dog's ownership signed over to her.

EYE GUARANTEE

Any dog showing hereditary eye defects will be replaced as follows:

Animals must be examined by 2 years of age by a certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist, (Qualified to do

CERF Eye exams). No animal over 2 is covered. The ophthalmologist must state that the defect is

definitely of a hereditary nature and not caused by injury or illness. A seven week old puppy from a similar

breeding will be provided if the owner follows the following criterion. The dog’s AKC registration will be

signed over to Laurie Weaver. Laurie has the option of requesting the original dog be sent back to her in

exchange for a replacement puppy.
