I. PARTIES
THIS DEED is made and entered into by and between THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, acting by and through the Secretary of the Air Force, under and pursuant to the
powers and authority contained in the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949,
as amended (40 U.S.C. § 541), and delegations and regulations promulgated thereunder (the
“Vendor”), and _______________________, a __________________________under the laws of
the State of Louisiana (the “Vendee”). (Unless the context otherwise specifically provides, when
used in this Deed, “Vendor” includes the assigns of the Vendor, and “Air Force” includes any
successor entity to the Department of the Air Force or any successor to the Secretary of the Air
Force, and “Vendee” includes the successors and assigns of the Vendee.)
II. CONSIDERATION AND CONVEYANCE
BE IT KNOWN, that on this _____ day of __________, 200___, before me, the
undersigned authority, and in the presence of the two undersigned competent witnesses
personally came and appeared the Vendor), who declared that, for and in consideration of the
price and sum of ($____________ ) ________________ Dollars, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged and full acquittance and discharge therefor given, does hereby sell, transfer,
assign, quitclaim, release, and relinquish unto the Vendee, here present and accepting and
acknowledging due delivery and possession thereof, all of the right, title, and interest that the
Vendor has or may have in and to the following described land situated in the Parish of
___________________________, State of Louisiana, to-wit:
III. HABENDUM AND APPURTENANCES
To have and to hold the same unto the Vendee without warranty of title or recourse, not
even for return of the purchase price, but with full substitution and subrogation in and to all the
rights and actions of warranty that Vendor has or may have against all preceding owners and
vendors.
TOGETHER WITH all the buildings and improvements erected thereon, except for
monitoring wells, treatment wells, and treatment facilities and related piping, if any, and all and
singular the tenements, hereditaments, appurtenances, and improvements hereunto belonging, or
in any wise appertaining (which, together with the real property above described, is called the
“Property in this Deed).
X. MISCELLANEOUS
A. Except for any personal covenant, each covenant of this Deed shall inure to the
benefit of the Grantor; shall be binding upon the Grantee; shall be deemed to touch and concern
the land; and shall run with the land.
