Fillable Printable Blank Baseball Score Sheet
Fillable Printable Blank Baseball Score Sheet
Blank Baseball Score Sheet
This document contains three blank score sheets for scoring the hitting, pitching, and fielding statistics during a game. Follow the instructions for each
scoresheet. Copy the sheets and use them to score each game. Have a different coach or parent track the hitting, fielding, and pitching stats to ensure
accuracy. Following the game, enter the data from each scoresheet into StatMinder! to keep your team’s season statistics.
HITTING SCORE SHEET INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use one sheet for each team per game.
2. Enter the batters’ names in the PLAYERS column. If either team is batting more than 13 players, use a second sheet.
3. Be sure to record:
a. How each out was made
b. How each runner reached base
c. Sacrifice bunts and flies
d. Runs batted in
e. Errors (affects earned runs)
4. After the game, sum the data for each batter in the boxes on the right of the page, then sum the totals for all batters in the boxes at the bottom of the
page.
5. You are now ready to enter your stats into the GAME HIT-RUN-FIELD STATS table in StatMinder!

PITCH TRACKER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use one sheet for each pitcher.
2. Enter the batters’ names in the BATTER column. There is space for one substitution per batter. If the opposing team is batting more than 13 players,
use a second sheet. There are 5 plate appearances per batter, indicated in the columns labeled 1 thru 5.
3. For each plate appearance, track the number of “balls” thrown by the pitcher in the B row and the number of strikes thrown (including all foul balls) in
the S row. If you aren’t tracking pitch types, just put a mark in each box (B or S). If you want to track pitch types, place a number of your choice in
each box to indicate the pitch type (e.g. 1=fastball, 2=curve, etc.). If the batter fouls off enough pitches to exceed 8 strikes, track the extras in the R
box just below the S row.
4. In the R box, enter the result of each plate appearance. Be sure to record:
a. All outs made, including put outs of runners who reached base
b. Strike outs (K), Walks (BB,) and Hit-by-pitch (HP)
c. Sacrifices (bunts and flies)
d. Fielder’s choice (other runner makes is put out) and reached on error (affects earned runs)
5. Track wild pitches, stolen bases, pick offs, balks, total runs scored, and earned runs scored by placing a tally mark each time one occurs in the
appropriate big white box at the bottom of the page. After the pitcher has finished his pitching turn, sum the tally marks in the smaller gray box. Put
a tally mark in the RUNS box for every run scored against the pitcher, whether earned or unearned. If you want to track the pitcher’s Earned Run
Average (ERA), you will also need to put a tally mark in EARNED RUNS box for each earned run scored.
6. After the pitcher has completed his turn, sum the data for each batter in the boxes on the right of the page, then sum the totals for all batters in the
boxes at the bottom of the page (TOTAL =). You are now ready to enter your GAME PITCHING STATS into StatMinder!

FIELDING SHEET INSTRUCTIONS
7. This sheet is for tracking your team’s fielding stats: assists, put outs, and errors.
8. Enter your fielder’s names in the PLAYERS column.
9. For each assist, put out, or error made by a player, place a tally mark in the appropriate white box for that player.
10. After the game is completed, total the assists, put outs, and errors for each player in the appropriate TOTAL box. Then sum the assists,
put outs and errors for all players at the bottom of the page.
11. You are now ready to enter your fielding stats into the GAME HIT-RUN-FIELD STATS table in StatMinder!
Guidelines:
A put out is credited to the player who puts a runner out by tagging the runner, tagging the base on a force-out, or catching a fly ball. The catcher is
credited with a put out for each third strike caught. If you are playing the dropped (not caught) third strike rule, the catcher does not receive credit for
the put out unless he catches the third strike cleanly.
An assist is credited to a fielder who throws the ball to the player who makes the put out. Pitchers are not credited with an assist on a strike out,
however.
An error is given to a player who:
Fails to make an assist or put out that should have been made with normal effort;
Misplays the ball (normal effort) and allows a runner to advance an extra base
