PRODUCTIONS AND PERFORMANCES:
Directed between one and three theatre productions annually (33 productions
since 1990) for the Department of Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech and the
Blacksburg Summer Arts Festival. (Directing resume available on

Performed in over 100 plays, commercials and television appearances (1972-

THEATRE WORKSHOPS:
Offered over 150 acting, movement and theatre workshops to various professional
theatres, theatre conferences (American Theatre in Higher Education,
Southeastern Theatre Conference, Virginia Theatre Association, Virginia
Thespian Conference), university theatre programs and Virginia high
schools.
ADMINISTRATION:
Serve as Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the Department of Theatre Arts
at Virginia Tech (1990-present). Responsibilities include curriculum
development and administration. Coordinate academic advising for 150
theatre arts graduate and undergraduate students. Provide State mandated
assessments of the Theatre Arts program for the past 15 years. Recruit
and interview approximately 150 high school students annually in order to
recruit 20-30 qualified majors for the Theatre Arts B.A. program. Serve
on several departmental, college and university committees including
University Academy of Teaching Excellence, College promotion and
tenure, College curriculum and Departmental advisory committees.
GRANTS:
"The Use of Film and Live Theatre as a Teaching Aid in the Humanities and
Social Sciences." Co-investigator with C.J. Dudley (Sociology), D. Lux
(History). Monies used for film production and project presentations.
