You are hereby notified that your rent will be increased as permitted by the City of Takoma Park’s

Rent Stabilization law (City Code Chapter 6.20.060 Annual Rent Increases).

The Takoma Park’s Rent Stabilization law maintains the affordability of rental units in the

community by lim iting the number and amount of rent increases that may be charged for a specific

rental unit. Generally the rent may be increased only once in a given 12 month period and rent

increases are limited to the annual increase in the Consumer Price Index. A two-month written

notice of any rent increase is required.
