Gabriel “Gabe” Stover, 29 of Jesup, Ga. went home to be with the Lord, Saturday,
August 18, 2012. The Bergholz, Ohio native and former resident of Knoxville, Tn.
had lived in Wayne County, Ga. the past few months. He was a loving husband, soon to
be father, a member and leader of Jr. Church Ministry of Faith Baptist Church of
Ludowici, Ga., a graduate of Crown College. In 2006, he was called into full time
church ministry and held leadership roles in several churches. Most recently, he was
employed with Golden Isles Landscaping Services of Brunswick, Ga.
Survivors are his wife, Amy Chapman Stover and soon to be, daughter, Eden Gabriella
Joy Stover; his parents, Bro. Robert Stover, Sr. and wife, Regina Schwender Stover of
Carrollton, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charity and Michael Foreman of
Greenwich, Conn., Bethany and Austin Jones of Knoxville, Tn., Victoria Stover of
Carrollton, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Thomas, Jr. and Sarah Stover of
Carrollton, Ohio, Jeremiah and Valerie Stover of Lakeland, Fla., Joshua Stover, Daniel
Stover, Benjamin Stover, David Stover, all of Carrollton, Ohio; maternal grandmother,
Judy Schwander of Bartow, Fla.; paternal grandparents, John Stover of Cleveland, OH,
and Linda Stover of Columbus, Ohio; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and
Janet Chapman of Hortense, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church
in Ludowici, Ga. with Pastor Terry Sellars, Rev. Robert Stover, Sr., and Pastor Mike
Landrum officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active
pallbearers will be his brothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Farrow,
Trent Davis, Nate Turner, Paul Schmutzler, Justin Green, Justin Johnson,
Brice Chapman, and Ed Hardy.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Christian Academy, 13 Main Street,
Ludowici, Ga. 31316.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
