SAMPLE JUDGING SHEET

NOTE: This is for your benefit in preparing for the show.

DO NOT DISCUSS THE JUDGING SHEET WITH THE JUDGES.

With so many vehicles to judge all judges are NOT TO BE INTERFERED WITH while judging is

going on unless a question is asked by one of the judges!

*Judges should not touch the show cars. Any closed compartments (hood or trunk areas) should be given zeros

on the score sheet. Remember, cleanliness is expected! Judging will start about 8:30 a.m.

Judges should start at 10 & work up or down, according to quality of car. If given 15 or higher, it should be very high quality in this category.

Paint & Body:

Inspect details of body work and paint quality. Stock cars should retain original factory colors

with NO body modifications. Modified cars have no limitations.

Exterior Trim:

Attention to rubber seals, lights, lenses, glass, trim pieces and accessories.

Interior:

Include dash, gauges, door panels, carpeting, headliner, seats, etc. Also consider trunk area, safety

equipment & fire extinguisher.

Engine:

From top to bottom. Attention to detail. Check wiring & paint detail. Accuracy for stock VWs.

Undercarriage & Floorpan:

Check suspension, axle boots, etc. Attention to detail on floorpans. Watch

for strange bolts or rivets. DAILY DRIVER CLASSES ARE NOT JUDGED IN THIS CATEGORY.

Display:

Not every car will be judged in this area. This category is for a Best Display Award and should consider

amount of time and effort, creativity, etc. Can range from literature to toys to full-blown display.
