IN PARTICIPATING ORGANISATIONS (CWE PO/MT-IV)

The online examination for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection ofpersonnel for Probationary
Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations listed belowis tentativelyscheduled in
October 2014.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join anyof the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a ProbationaryOfficer/
Management Trainee or ina similar post in that cadre, is requiredto register for the Common Recruitment Process (CWE
PO/MT-IV).Candidates who appear andare shortlistedin the examination, will subsequentlybe calledfor a Common
Interview to be conductedbythe Participating Organisations and co-ordinated bythe Nodal Bank with the help of IBPS.
Depending on the vacancies to be filled in duringthe financial year 2015-16 based on the business needs of the
Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will beprovisionally allotted to one of
the Participating Organisations keeping in viewthe spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy,administrative
convenience,etc.The validity for CWE PO/MT-IV will automaticallyexpire atthe close ofbusiness on 31.03.2016
with or without giving any notice.
This system of Common Recruitment Process- CWE, Common Interview and provisional allotment for recruitment of
Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in Participating Organisations has the approval of the appropriate
authorities.
IBPS,an autonomous body, has received amandate from the organisations mentioned at (A) below, to conductthe
recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year. IBPS will make arrangements for conducting online examination,
declare result of online examination and inform the shortlisted candidates about the interview. Interviews will be conducted
by the participating organisations and coordinatedby the Nodal Bank in each state/UTwith the help of IBPS. Prospective
candidates will have toapply toIBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination,
interview and provisional allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/
intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulatedcriteria and
follow the prescribed processes.

B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates, intending toapplyforCWEPO/MT-IV shouldensure that theyfulfil theminimum eligibility
criteria specified by IBPS in this advertisement:
Please note that theeligibilitycriteriaspecified herein are the basic criteriafor applying for the post. Candidates
must necessarily produce the relevant documents in original and aphotocopyin supportof their identity and
eligibility -pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications etc as indicated in the online
application form. Please note thatno change ofcategory will be permitted at any stage after registrationof the
online application. Merely applying for CWE/ appearing for and being shortlisted in CWE and/or in the
subsequent interviewand/ subsequent processes does not imply that acandidate will necessarilybe offered
employment in any of the ParticipatingOrganisations. No request for consideringthe candidature under any
category other than the one in which applied will be entertained.
I.Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i)a Citizen of India or
(ii)a subject of Nepal or
(iii)a subject of Bhutan or
(iv)a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1

January1962 with the intention of permanently
settling in India or
(v)a person of Indian origin who has migratedfromPakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africancountries of
Kenya,Uganda, the UnitedRepublicof Tanzania (formerly Tanganyikaand Zanzibar), Zambia,
Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
providedthat acandidate belonging tocategories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a
certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

NOTE: (i) The relaxation in upper age limit toSC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulativebasis with only

(iv)In case of an Ex-servicemen who has once joinedin a Govt. jobon the civil side after availing the benefits
given tohim as an Ex-servicemenfor his re-employment, his Ex-servicemen status for the purpose of re-
employment in Government ceases.
There is no reservation for Ex-servicemen in Officers’ Cadre.
III. Educational Qualifications:
A Degree(Graduation) in any disciplinefrom a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent
qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
The candidate must possess validMark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduateon the day he / she
registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Note:(1) All the educational qualifications mentionedshould befromaUniversity/ Institution/ Board recognised
by Govt. Of India/ approved byGovt. Regulatory Bodies and theresult should have been declared on
or before 11.08.2014.
Proper document from Board / Universityfor having declared the resulton or before11.08.2014has
to be submitted atthe time of interview. The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date
appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issuedby University/ Institute. In case the result of a
particular examination is postedon the website of the University/ Institute and web based certificate is
issued then proper document/certificate in originalissued and signed by the appropriate authority ofthe
University/ Institute indicating the date of passing properlymentioned thereon will be reckoned for
verification and further process.
(2)Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculatedto the nearest two decimals in
the online application. Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the same shouldbe convertedinto percentage
and indicated in online application. If calledfor interview, the candidate will have to produce acertificate
issued by the appropriate authorityinter alia stating that thenorms of the University regarding conversion
of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
(3)Calculation of Percentage:The percentage marks shall bearrivedat by dividing thetotal marks obtainedby
the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregatemaximum marks in all thesubjects
irrespective of honours / optional / additionaloptional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those
Universities alsowhere Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only.
The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignoredi.e. 59.99% will betreatedas less than 60% and
54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.
IV. Definition of Persons With Disabilities
Under Section33 of thePersons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protectionof Rightsand Full
Participation) Act1995onlysuch persons would be eligiblefor reservationwho suffer from not less than 40%
of relevant disability and are certified by a Medical Board constituted by the Central/State Govt.
Accordingly, candidates with the following disabilities are eligible to apply. Candidates claiming such benefits
shouldproduce certificate in original (issuedby the Competent Authority on or before the last dateof online
submission of application in the prescribedformat availableat the end of this advertisement) insupport of their
claim at the time of Interview/at any stage of the process if provisionally allotted to any of the Participating
Organisations. Persons with Disabilities will have towork in Branches/ Offices as identified by the
respective Participating Organisation.
Visually Impaired (VI)
Blindness refers to condition where a person suffers from any of the following conditions namely (i) Total
absence of sight, (ii) Visualacuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye with correcting
lenses. (iii) Limitation of the field of vision subtending in angle of 20 degrees or worse.
Low vision means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after treatment orstandard refractive
correction but who uses or is potentiallycapable of using vision for the planning or execution of atask with
appropriate assistive device.
Deaf & Hearing Impaired (HI)

The deaf are those persons in whom the sense of hearing isnon- functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e. total
loss of hearing in both ears. They do not hear, understandsounds at all even with amplified speech. Hearing
impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
Orthopaedically Challenged (OC)
Only those Orthopaedically Challenged candidates who have locomotor disability or cerebral palsywith
locomotorimpairment of minimum of 40% and only thosewho fall in the following categories are eligible to
apply:
BL - Both legs affected but not arms
OA - One arm affected (R or L) –
(a) Impaired reach;
(b) weakness of grip;
(c) ataxia
OL - One leg affected (R or L)
MW - Muscularweakness and limited physical endurance
Guidelines for Persons With Disabilities using a Scribe
The visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsycan use their
own scribe at their cost during the online examination. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following
rules will apply:
•The candidate will have to arrange his / her own scribe at his/her own cost.
•The scribe may be from any academic stream.
•Both the candidateas well as scribe will have to give asuitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfils all
the stipulatedeligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned above.Further in case it later transpires that he/she did
not fulfil any laiddown eligibility criteria or suppressed material facts the candidature of the applicant will stand
cancelled, irrespective of the result of the CWE.
•Those candidates whousea scribe shall be eligiblefor compensatory time of 20minutes for every hour of the
examination.
•The same scribe cannotbeused by more than one candidate. In addition the scribe arranged bythe
candidate should not be acandidateforthe examination (CWE PO/MT-IV). If violation of the above is
detected atanystage of the process, candidature for CWE of both the candidate and the scribe will be
cancelled.
Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of a scribe in the examination should invariably
carefully indicate the same in the online application form. Any subsequent request may not be favourably
entertained.
Guidelines for candidates
(i)with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy
An extra time of twenty minutes perhour shall be permitted for the candidates with locomotordisability and
cerebral palsywhere dominant (writing) extremity is affected totheextent of slowing the performance of
function (minimum of 40% impairment).
(ii)Visually Impaired candidates
•Visually Impaired candidates (who suffer from not less than 40% of disability) may opt toviewthe contents of
the test in magnified font andall such candidates will be eligibleforcompensatorytime of 20 minutes for every
hour of examination.
•The facility of viewing the contents of the test in magnifying font will not beavailable toVisually Impaired
candidates who use the services of a Scribe for the examination.
These guidelines are subject to change in terms of GOI guidelines/ clarifications, if any, fromtime to time.
C. PRE-EXAMINATION TRAINING
Pre-Examination Training may be arranged bythe Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations toa limited number
of candidates belonging toScheduled Caste/ ScheduledTribes/ Minority Communitiesat certain centres viz.
Agartala,Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad,Amritsar, Aurangabad,Balasore, Bareilly, Behrampur (Ganjam),
Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun,Dhanbad, Gorakhpur,

Gulbarga, Guwahati, Hubli, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur,Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kavaratti,
Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai,Mangalore, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Mysore, Nagpur,New Delhi,
Panaji (Goa), Patiala, Patna, Port Blair, Puducherry, Pune,Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shimla,
Shillong,Siliguri, Thiruchirapalli,Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijaywada and
Vishakhapatnam.
All eligible candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant
column in the ON-LINEAPPLICATION. While training will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses
regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have tobe borne by the candidate for attending the pre-
examination training programme at the designated Centres. Depending on the response and administrative
feasibility the right tocancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centres and/ oraddsome other Centres and/or
make alternate arrangements is reserved.
By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidateacquires any right tobe selected in any of the
Participating Organisations mentioned.
D. CWE – ONLINE EXAMINATION
I. The structure of the Examination which will be conducted online is as follows:

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
IBPS reservesthe rightto modifythe structureof the examination whichwill beintimatedthrough its website.
Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in anInformation Handout, which will be
made available for the candidates todownload alongwith the call letters from the authorised IBPS website
www.ibps.in.
Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the CWE without the following documents:
(1)Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination
(2)Photo-identityproof(as specified)in original bearing the same name as itappears on the call letter/
application form and
(3)Photocopy of photo-identity proof (as mentioned in (2) above)
Candidates reportinglatei.e. afterthe reportingtime specified on the call letter for Examination will not be
permitted to take the examination.
The reporting time mentionedon the call letteris prior to the Start time of the test. Though the duration of the
examination is 2hourscandidates may be requiredto be at the venue for about 4 hours including the time requiredfor
completion of various formalities such as verificationand collection of various requisite documents, logging in,giving
of instructions etc.
II. Penalty for Wrong Answers
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked inthe Objective Tests. Foreach question for which a wrong
answer has been given bythe candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assignedto that question will be
deducted as penalty to arriveat corrected score. If a question is leftblank, i.e. no answer is markedby the
candidate, there will be no penaltyfor that question.
III. Examination Centres
(i)The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of
Examination centres is available in Annexure I.
(ii)No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.
(iii) IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancelany of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other
Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

(iv) IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
(v) Candidatewill appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses
and IBPS will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of anynature.
(vi) Any unruly behaviour/misbehaviour in the examination hallmay result in cancellation of candidature/
disqualification from future exams conducted by IBPS
IV. Scores
The corrected scores obtained byeach of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using
equipercentile method.
V. Cutoff Score
Each candidate will be required toobtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be
considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the numberof vacancies available,cutoffs will be
decidedand candidates will be shortlistedfor interview. Prior tothe completion of the interview process, scores
obtained in the online examination will not be sharedwith the candidates shortlisted for interview.
E. INTERVIEW
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination forCWE PO/MT-IV will subsequently be calledfor an
Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT
with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date
of Interview will be informed tothe shortlistedcandidatesin the call letter. Candidates are required todownload
their interview call letters from authorisedIBPS websitewww.ibps.in. Pleasenotethat any request regarding
change in date,centre etc. of interviewwill not be entertained. Howeverthe conducting agencies reserve the right
to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of interview or holdsupplementary process forparticular date / session
/ venue / centre / set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any.
The total marks allottedfor Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than
40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio)of CWE(exam) andinterview will be 80:20
respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained bythe
candidates in CWE PO/MT-IV and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum
qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
A candidate should qualify both in the CWE and interview and be sufficientlyhigh in the merit to be shortlisted
for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which willbe made available subsequently on IBPS
website.
While appearing for the Interview, the candidate should produce valid prescribed documents given below.
In theabsenceof documents candidature of thecandidatesshall be cancelled.IBPS/ Nodal Bank/
Participating organisations take no responsibilityto receive/ connectany certificate/remittance/ document
sent separately

The following documents in original and selfattested photocopiesin support of thecandidate’seligibility and
identity are tobeinvariably submitted at the time of interview failing which the candidatemay not be permitted to
appearfor the interview. Non submission of requisite documents by thecandidate at thetimeofinterview
will debar his candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.
(i)Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter
(ii)Valid systemgenerated printout of the online application form registered for CWE PO/MT-IV
(iii)Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificateissued bythe Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std.X
Certificate with DOB)
(iv)Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point G of the advertisement
(v)Mark-sheets & certificates forGraduation or equivalentqualification etc. Properdocument from Board/
University for having declared the result on or before 11.08.2014 has to be submitted.
(vi)Caste Certificate issued by thecompetent authority in the prescribedformat as stipulated byGovernment
of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates.
In case of candidates belonging toOBC category, certificate should specifically contain a clause that the
candidate does not belong to creamylayer section excludedfromthe benefits of reservation forOther
BackwardClasses in Civil post & services underGovernment of India. OBC castecertificate containing

the Non-creamylayer clause shouldbe valid as on the last date of online registration i.e. 11.08.2014
(issued within one year priortothe last date for online registration).Caste Name mentioned in certificate
should tally letter by letterwith Central Government list / notification.
Candidates belonging toOBC category but coming under creamylayer and/ or if theircaste does
not find place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their
category as General in the online application form.
(vii)Disability certificatein prescribedformat issued by the District Medical Boardin case of PersonsWith
Disability category
If the candidate has usedthe services of a Scribe at the time of CWEthe duly filledin details of the
scribe in the prescribed format
(viii) An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copyof the Service or Discharge book alongwith
pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held(substantive as well as acting)
at the time of interview. Those who are still in defenceservice should submit acertificate from a
competent authority that they will be relieved fromdefence services, on or before 10.08.2015.
(ix)Candidates serving in Government / quasi govt offices/ PublicSector Undertakings (including
NationalisedBanks and Financial Institutions) are required toproduce a “No Objection certificate” from
their employerat the time of interview, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered
and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid.
(x)Persons eligible for age relaxation underII (5)must produce the domicile certificateat the time of
interview/ at any stage of the subsequent process fromthe District Jurisdiction where he / she had
ordinarily resided or any other authority designated in this regardby the Governmentof Jammu &
Kashmir to the effect that the candidate had ordinarily domiciledin the Kashmir Division of the State of
J&K during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
(xi)Persons eligible forage relaxation under II(6) must produce a certificate from the District Magistrateto
the effect that they are eligible for relief interms of the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected
Persons sanctionedbythe Government andcommunicatedvide Ministry of Finance,Dept. of Financial
Services communication No.F.No.9/21/2006-IR dated 27.07.2007.
(xii)Experience certificates, if any
(xiii)Persons falling incategories(ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Point B(I) should produce acertificate of eligibility
issued by the Govt. Of India
(xiv)Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility
Note:-Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interviewif he/ she fails toproduce the relevant
eligibility documents as mentioned above.
The CompetentAuthority for the issue of the certificate to SC / ST / OBC / PERSONS WITH
DISABILITIES is as under (as notified by GOI fromtime to time):

For Persons with Disabilities: Authorised certifying authoritywill be the Medical Boardat the District level
consisting of Chief Medical Officer, Sub-Divisional Medical Officerin the Districtand an Orthopaedic /
Ophthalmic / ENTSurgeon.
Prescribed Formats of SC, ST, OBC, PWD certificates to be submittedat the time of interview etc. can be
downloaded fromIBPS website www.ibps.in. Candidates belonging to these categories are requiredto produce
the certificates strictly in these formats only.
F. PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT
On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies tobefilled in during the financial year 2015-
16based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted

will be provisionally allotted toone of the Participating Organisations, basedon merit-cum-preference keeping in
view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Othersfrom
time to time, administrative exigency, etc. No change in the data already registered bythe candidatein the online
application form is possible.A candidate belonging to reserved category, selected on the basis of norms as
applicable to General category, will be treatedat parwith aGeneral categorycandidate for drawing up the merit

The provisional allotment issubject tothe candidate fulfilling the criteria forParticipating Organisation and
identity verification tothe satisfaction ofthe allottedorganisation. This doesnot constitute an offerof
employment. In case it is detected at anystage of the recruitment process that, the candidate does not satisfy the
eligibility criteria his/her candidature/ chance in the process shall stand forfeited.
A candidate who is provisionallyallottedwill forfeit his/her candidature/ chance for the process if he/she does not
avail the offer of appointment from the Participating Organisation.
Issuance of offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities forverification, joining etc. is solely
the decision of the Participating Organisations and shall be final and binding. IBPS shall have no roletherein. Any
queries in this regard shall be directed to the participating organisationsonly. A reserve list tothe extent of
approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each categorymay be kept, subject to the availability of
candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotmentto/recruitment by the Participating Organisation(s)/
other financial organisations. In the event of Participating Organisations/ other financialorganisations providing
further vacancies during April 2015-March 2016, provisional allotment will be carried out for the candidates in the
reserve list. However if no vacancy is furnished by the Participating Organisations/ otherfinancial organisations
owing toexigencies orotherwise during the validity periodthe candidates underthe reserve list will not be
considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically on 31.03.2016without any notice.
Candidates who are not provisionally allottedornot in the reserve list will not beconsideredfor anyfurther
process under CWE PO/MT-IV for vacancies for 2015-16.
The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment ofOrganisations shall be final and binding upon the selected
candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel, reallot Organisation-wise allocation/ change the
process depending upon exigencies or otherwise.
G. IDENTITY VERIFICATION
In the examination hall as well as at the time of interview, the call letteralong with a photocopyof the
candidate’s photo identity (bearingthe same name as itappears on thecall letter)such as PAN Card/
Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photoidentity proof issued by a
Gazzetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph / Identity Card issued bya recognised
college/ university/ Aadhar card withaphotograph/ Employee ID should be submittedtothe invigilatorfor
verification. The candidate’s identitywill be verified with respect to his/her details onthe call letter,in the
AttendanceList and requisitedocuments submitted.Ifidentityof the candidate isindoubt the candidate
may notbe allowed to appear for the Examination/ interview.Ration Card and E-Aadhar card will not
beaccepted as valid id proof for this project.
Note: Candidates have toproduce, in original, thesame photo identityproof bearingthe name asit appears on
the online application form/ call letter and submit photocopy of the photoidentity proof along with
Examination call letter as well as the InterviewCall Letter while attending the examination/ interview
respectively, without which they will not be allowed to take up the examination/ interview.
H.HOW TO APPLY
Candidates can apply online onlyfrom 22.07.2014to11.08.2014and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Pre-Requisites for Applying Online
Before applying online, candidates should—

(i)scan theirphotograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph andsignature adhereto the required
specifications as given in Annexure II to this Advertisement.
(ii)if desiring tomake online payment of application fees/ intimation charges keepthe necessarydetails/documents
ready(In case of Offline Paymenti.e.CBS candidates have toapplyonline, obtain a fee payment challan and then
remit the necessary application fees/ intimation charges).
(iii)have avalid personal email ID, which should be kept active till thecompletion of this round of Common
Recruitment Process. IBPS may send call letters forthe Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no
circumstances, a candidate should share with/mentione-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does
not have a validpersonal e-mail ID,he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must
maintain that email account.
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from22.07.2014 to11.08.2014(Onlinepayment) and 24.07.2014
to 14.08.2014 (Offline payment) both dates inclusive] shall be as follows
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs. 600 /- for all others
Bank Transaction charges forOffline/ Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have tobe borne by
the candidate
Procedure for applying online
(1)Candidates are first required togo totheIBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on theHome Page toopen the
link “CWE PO/MT” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE-
PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENTTRAINEES (CWE-PO/MT-IV)”to open the On-Line
Application Form.
(2)Candidates will have click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEWREGISTRATION” to registertheir application by
entering their basic information in the online application form. After that a provisional registration number and
passwordwill be generated bythe system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the
Provisional registration number and password. An Email& SMS indicating the Provisional Registration
number and Passwordwill alsobe sent. They can reopen the saveddata using Provisional registration number
and password and edit the particulars, if needed.
(3)Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the
Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature (Annexure II).
(4)Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as nochange in any of the
datafilled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior tosubmission ofthe online
application candidates are advised touse the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the
online application form and modify the same ifrequired. Nochange is permitted after clicking on
FINAL SUBMIT Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsiblefor carefully verifying/ getting
the details filledin, in the online application form properlyverified and ensuringthatthe same are
correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
Mode of Payment
Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges either through the ONLINE
mode or the OFFLINE mode:
(1)Payment of fees/ intimation charges via the ONLINE MODE
(i)Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the On-Line Application at the appropriate places very carefully
including the registration of preferences forParticipatingorganisations and click on the “FINAL SUBMIT”
button at the end of the On-Line Application format. Beforepressingthe “FINAL SUBMIT” button, candidates
are advised to verify everyfieldfilled in the application. The name of the candidateor his /her father/husband
etc. shouldbe spelt correctly in the applicationas it appears inthe certificates/mark sheets. Any
change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one go, he/ she can save the data already entered.
Once the application is filled in completely, candidate should Final Submit the data.

(ii)The application form isintegratedwith the payment gateway and the payment processcan be completedby
following the instructions.
(iii)The payment can bemade by using onlyMaster/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking byproviding
information as asked on the screen.
(iv)After Final Submit, an additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidates may followthe
instructions and fill in the requisite details.
(v)If the online transaction has notbeen successfully completed then candidates are advisedto login againwith
their provisional registration number and password and pay the Application Fees/ Intimation Charges online.
(vi) On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receiptwill be generated.
(vii)Candidates are requiredto take aprintout of the e-receiptandonline application form. Please note that if the
same cannot be generated online transaction may not have been successful.
Note:
o After submitting your payment information in the online application form, please wait forthe intimation from
the server, DO NOT press Back or Refresh button in order to avoid double charge
o For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will
convert toyour local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
o To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
(2)Payment of fees/ intimation charges via OFFLINE MODE (at counters of specified Bank branches):
Payment of fee/ intimation charges through the offline mode can be made through the CBS branches of any one
of the following 7 Public Sector Banks-
Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra,Central Bank of India,Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab
National Bank, United Bank of India
Candidates should fill in the details in the On-Line Application at the appropriate places very carefully
including the registration of preferences for Participating organisations andclick on the“FINAL SUBMIT”
button atthe endof the On-Line Applicationformat. Before pressing the “FINAL SUBMIT” button, candidates
are advised to verify everyfieldfilled inthe application. The name of the candidate or his /her father/husband
etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any
change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one go, he/ she can save the data already entered.
Theycan reopen the saved datausing Provisional registration number and passwordand edit the particulars, if
needed. Once the application is filled in completely, candidate should Final Submit the data. Candidates should
take a printout of the systemgeneratedfee payment challan immediately. No change/edit will beallowed after
final submission.
The registration at this stage is provisional.
Fee / Intimation charges Payment: Fee/ intimation charges payment will be accepted at the CBS branches of
the banks listedabove from2nd working dayafterregistration and can be made within threeworking days.
Systemgenerated fee payment challan will be used fordepositing fee/ intimation charges. (Forexample: If one
has registered on 26.07.2014then he/she will be ableto deposit the fee/ intimation charges from 30.07.2014to
01.08.2014considering 27.07.2014 and 29.07.2014are non- working days). Once fee /intimation charges has
been paid, the registration process is completed.
Candidate will receive registration confirmationby SMS/e-mail after two working days from the date of
payment of fees/ intimation charges. Please ensure tofurnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive
the registration confirmation.
Note- - There is also a provision to reprint the submitted application containingfee/ intimation charges details,
three days after fee payment.
After completing the procedure of applying on-line including paymentoffees /intimation charges, the
candidate should take a printout of the system generated on-line application formthree days after fee/
intimation charges payment,ensure the particularsfilledin are accurate and retain it along with Registration
Number and Password for future reference. They should not send this printout to the IBPS/ Banks.

Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online application includingName ofthe Candidate,
Category, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email ID,Centre of Examination, registration of
preferences for Participating Organisations etc.will be considered asfinal and nochange/modifications
will beallowed after submission ofthe online application form. Candidatesare hence advised tofillin
the onlineapplication form with the utmost care as no correspondenceregardingchange of details will
be entertained. IBPS will not be responsible for any consequences arising outof furnishingof incorrect
and incomplete details in the application oromission toprovide the required details in the application
form.
An online application which is incompletein any respectsuch as withoutproper passportsize
photograph and signature uploaded in the online application form/ unsuccessful feepayment will notbe
considered as valid.
Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply on-line much before the closingdate and not to wait
till the lastdate for depositing the fee / intimation charges toavoid the possibilityof disconnection/
inability/ failure to log on to the IBPS website on account of heavy load on internet/website jam.
IBPS does notassume anyresponsibilityfor the candidates notbeing able tosubmit theirapplications
within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any otherreason beyond the control of the
IBPS.
Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of
application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.
Any information submitted by an applicant in his/ herapplication shall bebinding on the candidate personally
and he/she shall beliablefor prosecution/ civil consequences in case the information/ details furnished byhim/
her are found to be false at a later stage.
I. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
(1)Candidates will have to invariably produce and submit the requisite documents suchas valid call letter, a
photocopy of photo-identity proofbearing the same nameas it appears on the online submitted
application form etc. at the time of examination and interview respectively.
(2)Before applying for thepost,the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms
mentionedin this advertisement. Candidatesare therefore advised to carefully readthis advertisementand
follow all the instructions given for submitting online application.
(3)A Candidate’s admission to theexamination/ shortlisting for interview/ and subsequentprocesses is
strictlyprovisional. The mere factthat the call letter(s)/ provisional allotment has been issued to the
candidate does not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared byIBPS/ Participating
Organisation.IBPS/ Participating Organisations wouldbe free to reject any application, at anystageof
the process,cancel thecandidature of the candidate incase it is detected atany stage thatacandidate
does not fulfill the eligibility normsand/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false
information/certificate/documents or has suppressed anymaterial fact(s). Ifanyof these shortcomings
is/are detected after appointment in aParticipating Organisation, his/her services are liable tobe
summarily terminated.
(4) Decision of Nodal Banks/Participating Organisations/ IBPS in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate,
the stages at which suchscrutiny of eligibility is tobe undertaken, qualifications andother eligibility norms, the
documents to be produced for the purpose of the conduct of Examination, interview, verification etc. and any
other matter relating to CWE PO/MT-IV willbe final and binding on the candidate. Nocorrespondence or
personal enquiries shall be entertained by IBPS/ Participating Organisations in this behalf.
(5)Notmore than one application should be submitted byanycandidate. In case ofmultiple Applications
onlythelatest valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee/ intimation charges
