Now!it!is!agreed!as!follows:!

1'Definitions'and'interpretation'
!
1.1!'the!Lottery'!means!the![Saturday!'Lotto']!prize!draw!of!the!National!
Lottery!established!under!the!National!Lottery!Act!1993!and!organised!
under!license!by!Camelot!Group!PLC;!!
!
1.2!'the!Members'!means!the!persons!listed!in!parts!1!and!2!of!the!
schedule!to!this!agreement!and!'a!Member'!means!any!of!those!persons!
so!listed;!
!
1.3!'the!Organizer'!means!the!person!so!elected!from!time!to!time!by!a!
majority!of!the!Members!expressing!a!choice)!named!in!part!4!of!the!
schedule!to!this!agreement!(or!the!person!appointed!as!his!successor;!
!
1.4!'the!Weekly!Stake'!means!the!weekly!sum!agreed!to!be!subscribed!
by!the!Members!under!clause!4!below!and!'the!Weekly!Stakes'!means!
the!total!number!of!such!sta kes!fo r!each !Lotte ry!draw ;!
!
1.5!the!clause!headings!do!not!form!part!of!this!agreement!and!shall!no t!
be!taken!
into!account!in!its!con stru ctio n !o r!inte rpre tatio n .!

2'Agreement'to'participate'
!
By!this!agreement!the!Members!join!together!to!participate!in!the!
Lottery!commencing!with!the!next!prize!draw!after!the!date!of!this!
agreement.!
3!The!obligation!to!share!
!
3.1!Any!prize!won!in!the!Lottery!draw!shall!be!shared!equally!between!

the!
Members!participating!in!that!draw![subject!to!clause!4.9!below].!
!
3.2!The!Member!to!whom!a!prize!is!paid!shall!be!a!trustee!of!such!prize!
for!the!
other!Members!to!the!extent!of!the!share!of!each.!
!
3.3!Each!share!shall!be!paid!to!the!Member!entitled!within![7]!days!of!
receipt!by!
the!winning!Membe r.!
!
3.4!Any!share!not!so!paid!under!clause!3.3!above!shall!bear!interest!at!
the!rate!of![5]!%!above!the!base!lending!rate!of!(name!of!bank)!from!
time!to!time!in!force.!
!
4.1!Each!member!will!pay!to!the!organizer!in!cash!the!weekly!stake!of!
[£1.00]!by!noon!on !th e![T h u rsd a y]!im m e d iat ely!p re ced in g !eac h !Lo tt ery !
draw!and!it!shall!be!a!condition!of!participation!in!any!draw!and!in!
entitlement!to!share!in!a!prize!under!this!agreement!that!this!
requirement!is!met!exa ctly.!

Unless!clause!4.4!below!(standing!choice)!applies:!

4.2.1!Each!Member!shall!on!payment!of!the!Weekly!Stake!provide!the!
Organizer!with!a!completed!Lottery!playslip.!
!
4.2.2!If!a!Member!does!not!hand!to!the!Organizer!a!completed!playslip!
in!due!time!but!has!p aid !a!Weekly!Stake!the!Organiser!is!au tho rise d ![an d!
required]!to!complete !a!Lo tte ry!p lay slip !on !b eh a lf!of!th e!Member!with!
such!numbers!as!are!appropriate!to!entry!into!the!Lottery!as!he!thinks!fit!
without!liability!for!failure!to!win!a!prize.!

4.2.3!Any!prize!won!as!a!result!of!completion!of!a!playslip!in!accordance!!
with!clause!4.2.2!above!shall!be!shared!in!accordance!with!clause!3!
above.!
!
4.4!A!Member!shall!be!permitted!to!lodge!with!the!Organiser!a!standing!
choice!of!numbers!whereupon!the!Organiser!will!so!long!as!the!Weekly!
Stake!of!that!Member!is!in!his!possession!complete!and!submit!that!
Member's!Lottery!playslip!each!week!in!accordance!with!that!choice.!

4.5!Any!Member!may!resign!by!notice!in!writing!to!the!Organiser!and!the!
name!of!that!Member!with!the!date!of!ceasing!to!be!a!Member!shall!be!
entered!by!the!Organiser!in!part!3!of!the!schedule.!
!
4.6!Notice!served!under!clause!4.5!above!will!have!immediate!effect!or!
otherwise!as!stated!in!the!notice!and!on!its!taking!effect!entitlement!to!a!
share!in!any!prize!won!thereafter!shall!cease.!
!
4.7!A!Member!who!fails!to!contribute!a!Weekly!Stake!on![4]!occasions!
[whether!consecu tiv ely!o r!n o t]!o v er!a!period!of![8]!weeks!taken!
continuously!will!be!deemed!to!have!resigned!and!to!be!no!longer!a!
Member!immediately!on!default!on!the!last!due!payment!and!the!name!
of!that!Member!with!the!date!of!ceasing!to!be!a!Member!shall!be!
entered!by!the!Organiser!in!part!3!of!the!schedule.!
!
4.8!A!Member!who!in!any!week!contributes!more!than!one!Weekly!
Stake!shall!be!entitled!to!more!than!one!share!in!any!prize!for!that!
week's!prize!draw![in!proportion!to!the!contribution]![whether!or!not!a!
prize!was!won!by!that!Member's!Lottery!playslip].!
!
4.9!For!the!avoidance!of!doubt!a!prize!won!in!the!Lottery!by!a!Member!
otherwise!than!by!means!of!a!Lottery!playslip!presented!through!the!
Organiser!on!behalf!of!the!Members!shall!not!be!subject!to!the!
obligation!to!share!contained!in!clause!3!above.!

5'The'Organiser'shall:'
!
5.1!keep!a!written!record!of!all!contributions!made![and!prizes!won]!and!
make!it!available!to!any!Member!for!inspection!at!all!reasonable!times;!
5.2!present!all!Weekly!Stakes!and!Lottery!playslips!at!an!authorised!sales!
point!of!the!Lottery!in!time!for!inclusion!in!each!weekly!draw8;!
5.3!retain!and!keep!safe!the!Lottery!terminal!tickets!issued!to!him!under!
clause!4.2!above!and!produce!them!to!any!Member!on!demand;!
5.4!keep!this!agreement!safe!and!the!schedule!up!to!date!at!all!times!
and!provide!each!Member!with!a!photocopy!of!the!agreement!and!
updated!schedule!as!soon!as!practicable!on!request;!
5;5!be!entitled!to!reimbursement!by!the!Members!of!all!expenses!
reasonably!incurred!in !ca rryin g!o u t!h is!res p on s ibilitie s;!!

7'Exclusion'of'Organiser's'liability'

In!the!absence!of!w ilf ul!n e glec t!o r!d ef au lt!t h e!O rg an ise r!sh a ll!no t !be !
liable!to!any!Member!in !res pe ct!o f!an y!failu re!to !w in !a!p rize!in !th e!
Lottery!or!any!other!financial!loss!or!claim!arising!out!of!this!agreement.!
8!Publicity!
The!Members![do!not]!authorise!publicity!in!respect!of!their!
participation!in!the!Lottery.!
