Thank you for participating in the Texas Department of Transportation’s campaign to educate our fellow
Texans about the importance of registering their vehicles and keeping registration stickers current. The
campaign, which officially launched in January of 2006, is supported with statewide television, radio, public
relations events, and promotional efforts.
As more Texans (and newcomers to Texas) become aware of the importance of registering their vehicles,
we’d like to reward them for “sticking up” for the Lone Star State. That’s why we urge you to pass out our
new “Registered Texan”™ stickers to drivers who register vehicles at your office and satellite locations. Just
as individuals proudly sport the “I voted” sticker on election day, we’re hoping that drivers will display this
“Registered Texan”™ sticker on their car’s bumper or back window and, by so doing, remind other Texans
to do their part to help build and maintain our highways, roads, and bridges.
Presently, these stickers are only available at County Tax Assessor locations and through promotional partners
who only distribute stickers to drivers with current registrations.
In addition, we have small, (1.75” wide x 1.125” tall), color, temporary tattoos available (kids love them!).
