Friday
3:00 pm – check in, provide Beachwood with any wine, CD’s, centrepieces, cake, guest book etc needed
for dining room
5:00 pm – rehearsal (front lawn, lobby)
7:00 pm – BBQ at __________________________
8:00 pm - ?? – bonfire, socializing, decorate dance hall (if it is available)
Saturday
8:30 – 9:30 am – breakfast – main lodge dining room
10:00 am – decorate arbour, dance hall
11:00 am – hair & makeup
12:00 pm – decorate dining room (if required)
2:30 pm – pre wedding photos
4:00 pm – wedding ceremony
4:30 – 5:30 pm – cocktail hour for guests and photos for wedding party
5:45 – 6:00 pm – guests seated for dinner service in dining room
6:00 pm – Emcee introduces him/herself, wedding party, housekeeping (how to get bride & groom to
kiss), special guests (parents, grandparents, guests from far away etc). Emcee asks _________ to come
up and say grace.
6:10 – 7:30 pm – dinner service – appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee/tea.
7:30 pm – After dinner service is completed (waitstaff will serve dessert and make a couple of trips
around the dining room with coffee/tea and then leave dining room so the speeches can begin
uninterrupted. Emcee introduces each speaker. Can be done in any order you prefer and everyone listed
does not have to give a speech:
Emcee, Maid of Honour, Best Man, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents of groom, parents of bride, bride
& groom (usually the Emcee is the first to speak and the bride and groom are the last)
8:30 pm – Emcee announces that your first dance will take place in a few minutes out on the front lawn
or in the dance hall located downstairs. He/She thanks everyone for coming etc etc.
8:30 pm – dance begins with bride & groom first dance, followed by bridesmaids/groomsmen and
parents joining in.
Sometime during the dance – These are up to you whether you do them or not. You can spread
it out over the evening or do it all at the beginning of the dance.
Father of the bride and Mother of the groom dance with their children either together or
separately
Garter toss and bouquet toss
Cake cutting
11:00 pm – midnight snack is placed out for guests and DJ announces this
1:00 am – Bar closes
Sunday
8:30 – 9:30 am – breakfast is served in the main lodge dining room
11:00 am – guests check out
