Summary of Conditions

3. Acceptance on the Metropolitan Police Service official list is an engagement – not
employment – for which a fee will be paid for work completed.
4. Persons accepted for this work will be required to sign a copy of the Official Secrets
Act.
5. The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service reserves the right to remove a
person from the official list at any time.
Any information given in this form may be entered onto the Metropolitan Police Service translator’s
database, in compliance with the Data Protection Act. The information you provide will be used:
a) By the Interview Panel to decide if your details can be placed on the database
b) To complete your entry into the database if your application is successful.
The form has been designed to allow you to give the maximum information to the Interview Panel
who will be evaluating your application. Any information written on the form but outside of the boxes
provided will not be accepted.
