on the agency’s website at www.tcfp.texas.govfor further
clarification.
Qualification Guidelines for IFSAC Seals:
Individualsqualifyingfor IFSAC seals via a passed exam, the individual MUST apply for the seal within 2 years of pass the exam.
Medical courses documented must meet NFPA 1001 medi cal requ i remen ts that includethe following four subjects:Infection Control; CPR;
BleedingControl and ShockManagement
Prerequisite seals must be held before an advanced seal can be issued. Prerequisite and advanced seals can be applied for at the same time on the same
application (as long as all qualifications for both are met at that time)
