SECTION II: EDUCATION PLAN
The supervisor will discuss education and development activities with the employee and then outline a plan for the employee to complete these
activities during the next fiscal year. The employee and supervisor should understand that the implementation of this educational plan is
required. The IEP is used as a performance management tool and training enrollment is driven from the IEP’s selections. The purpose of the
courses listed is to assist the employee with their job roles and responsibilities and is subject to change at the discretion if the Education and Career
Development Department and/or supervisor.

SECTION IV: PUTTING THE PLAN IN ACTION
Action
Due Date
Complete the Individual Education Plan with supervisor and mail to the Education and Career
Development Department.
Within 15 days of employment and/or with 15 days of annual performance
review
Once the Education and Career Development Department receives the completed Individual
Education Plan from the supervisor, the student will be enrolled in the selected courses.
Note: Once a management employee is hired and their account is active in the Payroll system,
they will automatically be enrolled in the online NCRU. They will be given login information and
instruction as well as their user ID and password. They will be prompted to change the password
once they enter their individual student webpage.
Within 7 days of receipt of IEP
Within two weeks of hire date
Employee must complete courses based on their Individual Educational Plan and it will be tied to
their performance review and updated annually.
