SECTION II: EDUCATION PLAN
The supervisor will discuss education and development activities with the employee and then outline a plan for the employee to complete these
activities during the next fiscal year. The employee and supervisor should understand that the implementation of this educational plan is
required. The IEP is used as a performance management tool and training enrollment is driven from the IEP’s selections. The purpose of the
courses listed is to assist the employee with their job roles and responsibilities and is subject to change at the discretion if the Education and Career
Development Department and/or supervisor.

Management Essentials Quick Steps
Quick Steps is a tutorial-based performance improvement system designed to meet the needs of new, current and future property managers.
These tutorials include competencies that enhance business decisions, communications and accuracy in reporting.
The information in these tutorials has been compiled through collaboration with NCR subject matter experts and industry partners as well as
extensive research of government resources. Refer to the Property Management Policy and Procedures Guide (PPG) for additional resources and
information.
Management Essentials Quick Steps benefits all management employees new to NCR. All sessions are based on the most current understanding

Risk Awareness
Risk Awareness provides basic safety and risk management training for housing employees. Completion of this program allows NCR to obtain
lower rates for liability insurance for its communities throughout the country.
