Theappointmentcarriesnopresumptionofacademictenureorreappointmentbeyondthe
periodstatedabovehowever,itcouldberenewedonayearlybasispendingapproval.
Theuniversityisrequiredbyfederallawtoverifytheidentityandworkauthorizationofallnew
employees.Accordingly,thisofferiscontingentuponsuchverification.Youwillbeaskedbya
representativeofthisdepartmenttocompletetheFormI‐9(EmploymentEligibilityVerification
form)nolaterthanyourfirstdayofwork.
Thisofferiscontingentontheuniversity’sverificationofcredentialsandotherinformation
requiredbylawand/oruniversitypolicies,includingbutnotlimitedtoacriminalbackground
